Donate to help women experiencing vulnerability

Imagine being trapped in a violent relationship, unable to leave because of financial insecurity. This is a devastating reality for countless women and their children. Your donation helps ensure women get the support they need to leverage their inherent strengths and bravery to move forward.

160 Years of Impact

For 160 years Good Shepherd has been supporting women, girls and their families, but we can’t do it without you. Your ongoing support helps to develop innovative programs and services, and advocate for the real, sustained systemic change required to genuinely improve outcomes for women, girls and their families.

Our history in Australia goes back to 1863, when Sister Mary Euphrasia Pelletier sent four Good Shepherd Sisters to Melbourne to support women and children in difficult circumstances. We’ve grown into an organisation that touches lives across the globe, advocating for and supporting women experiencing disadvantage, violence and uncertainty, from all walks of life.

Today, Good Shepherd is the world’s largest and longest-running organisation supporting women and girls, with a presence in 73 countries. Thank you for being part of our journey.

Together, we can create lasting change and build a brighter future for women, girls and their families. Your generous donation will help rebuild, move forward and live fulfilling lives.

When you donate to Good Shepherd, you are partnering with us to support women, girls and their families. We’re so grateful.

Good Shepherd Australia New Zealand (ABN 61 354 551 576) is a registered charity.
